Prior to the start of your session, have a discussion with your therapist about your health history, any allergies and such so she or he is well aware and uses the right oils and lotions on you. Also discuss what spa treatments will be most beneficial for you unless you’ve already decided beforehand. You can always adjust the treatments based on what you and your therapist decide. She or he can advise based on your body, age, and health what works best for you. Rookie spa goers should try the Swedish massage if offered by the spa. It’s a delight.
